I enjoy puns, so I couldn't help but say "May the 4th be with you" this coming Star Wars Day. Check out this list of ways to celebrate Star Wars Day in the greater Grand Rapids area. Find your family fun and explore local businesses. Whether you're a Star Wars superfan or simply like the pun, your family is sure to enjoy these ideas. 

1. Enjoy a Child That Looks Like Yoda Treat

Underground Cookie Club has a Child That Looks Like Yoda ice cream bar. Any resemblance to the famous Baby Yoda is purely coincidence. If you're more in the mood for an ice cream sandwich, check out the Baby 'Yo -- minty chippy ice cream sandwiches between mint chocolate chip brownies.





2. Learn About Astronomy

The Grand Rapids Amateur Astronomical Association – in existence for over 60 years - is an organization of more than 100 astronomy enthusiasts of varied ages, backgrounds, and interests. The association has an eclectic mix of individuals and families who share a common interest in and appreciation for the wonders of the universe.


3. Take a Journey to Outer Space

You can find Everything You Need to Know About Star Wars (literally) at the Grand Rapids Public Library. With over 900 books related to or about Star Wars, there's something for everyone at every reading level. What about having a family read-a-thon?


7. Make Baby Yoda Deviled Eggs
